How long ago did this happen?

This stunt was round the time he was promoting his book. When his dad did not answer the door, he left a copy of his book at the doorstep. This is not the last time he pulled something like this. On the Leah Remini programme his sob story was bringing his family to do landscaping at his dad's place and watching as his dad drove by. He made a point of relating how he wasn't getting paid for unsolicited yard work, as if it's common practice to for adult children to insist on compensation when helping their elderly parents with household chores.

Speaking of his dad, it's stunts like this that really irritate me. He's knows his dad isn't opening the door and I can't quite blame him. For all he knows Lloyd has a camera crew and is going to try to humiliate him. Then to drag his daughter to the doorstep and just harp on how and why her grandfather wont see her is traumatic to a child. Then for good measure he uses her as a prop for a social media post. His wife should have stepped in and kept her from going. If he really wanted his dad to see her, he could have gone there himself beforehand to ask. But he wanted clickbait

i want to create a new site to help people leaving the wts.. the idea is that it will be curated content of articles and videos on specific subjects such as how to fade, how to handle family, personal experiences of leaving, mistakes to avoid, plus practical life matters impacted by the wts such as how to create or rebuild a career, planning for retirement, getting counselling, making friends etc.... the idea is that it should be lots of voices to share the love and promote lots of people's channels so it becomes a more effective resource (hopefully there will always be something informative and appealing to the people visiting).. if you have a youtube channel that you would like featured, or maybe have some specific video or series that would suit, i'd be happy to include them.. likewise, if you have a subject you'd like to write about and can share some practical knowledge and guidance on, or have a life-story you'd like to share because your experience could benefit others, please let me know.. i bought a domain and setup some placeholder content:.

Let’s start with the exit stories, including those from activists already out there. It can be a perfect place to plug their own website and/or content. I believe the exit stories are what JWs are keenly interested in especially when plotting or currently in the middle of their own. Tweet this out, and unlike other activists, solicit feedback and perhaps their idea is better than yours.

Will there be a comment section? It might be a great idea in theory but once Lloyd and his followers get wind of this and how it’s intentionally excluding him, it’s prime bait for his trolls.

Lloyd or Mark O'Donnell contacted said journalist and told them not to get involved with him.

It wasn't Lloyd directly or the other tree guy. It was Patrick Haeck, the Belgian guy in whose company Lloyd humped a Christmas tree. He basically bad-mouthed Marc and said he wasn't a good source and referred the reporter to JWSurvey. To his credit Haeck later apologised to Marc Latham. He's been silent ever since so I wonder if his opinion on Lloyd has changed.

As for O'Donnell, he's always been a behind the scenes guy, keen to avoid his mentor's mistakes. Though his resignation letter hit most of the right buttons, it sounded contrived in that it seemed he really didn't want to be making that kind of statement. It's almost as if he ran his statement by Lloyd first and was advised to throw some shade at Kim Silvio as a compromise. It was completely unnecessary and made an otherwise decent letter sound suspicious. Add in the fact that Lloyd is still vocally supportive of his work, I wouldn't be so quick to send him money either.

According to a YouTube comment Diana changed her Instagram name and it no longer says Evans.

Here it is. Lloyd follows it so it has to be her. Set to private as expected. No mention of Lloyd, the Evans surname and her bio only stated she was a proud mother, not wife.

So, what’s he been up to today?

He also tweeted out things that he's grateful for. Mentioned his children, his "satisfying work", his health and "loved ones". No mention of his wife. People immediately jumped on that and he made no attempt to clarify it.

If you are interested in Jones, I highly recommend "Raven" by Tim Reiterman. Tim was one of the reporters who was shot on the tarmac in Guyana by Jones loyalists. Jones was a sadist who held trials for small animals as a child and sentenced them all to death. And contrary to the common narrative, Jones never believed in Christ or Christianity. He was an avowed Marxist from day one and only used the church as a ruse to gather black followers.

I think he's an outlier and comparisons made to him are often unfair. There certain qualities that Jones and other cults share, such as Jones' diatribes against defectors and control of his adherent's personal lives.

He can't ever simply admit that he made a mistake, his instinct is to always double-down, try to shout over people and make more threats.

He's melting down in real time. This is not just a random occurrence, there always seems to be something behind it. It's possible the wife told him he needs to find new living arrangements (which would explain his announcement that he's making fewer videos) or the end of month billing cycle which is approaching is going to show a massive drop in Patrons. They've had a lot to chew on in the past month with the constant sniping and the Andrew Gold debacle.

What the reddit thread doesn't delve into is the background behind all the COC bootleg controversy before Lloyd got caught. His original stance was if the bootleg wasn't sold for profit, then bootlegging it wasn't illegal.

Then he denied attempting to sell it, deflecting blame onto his friend once he realized he was caught doing something illegal.

However, his "friend" was reached out to via email and took an order to sell 20 books at the cost of $10 USD a book.

When pressed for details about this arrangement, notice what Arthur states about an "arrangement" with him and Cedars. I thought it was only a case of "my friend published the book, not me!"?

NOTE: The address given is to a McDonald's in North Carolina. I googled it. No need to censor it.

Lloyd has no problem with profiting off of his dead mother if it means getting a little sympathy. The letter screams "look at me."

According to his story, he wrote what ended up being a first draft of the letter and tried to read it to his mum, but she was in hospice and heavily medicated. At some point after his disassociation but before his first daughter was born, he rewrote the letter with his new beliefs in mind. He showed it privately to Patrick Haeck (the Belgian guy he got drunk with and ended up humping the Christmas tree) and Patrick in dramatic fashion insisted he include that letter in his book. I'm sure he had every intention of including it in his book and didn't need Patrick's encouragement. Also in that section he related how Haeck paid for their holiday on the Croatian coast when Lloyd showed up to visit and had zero money in his bank account. He also helped finish their apartment, driving his utility truck over from Belgium to finish his daughter's room. He brought enough supplies to finish the entire place and donated his expensive tools.
